Pricing: Proteomics and Mass Spectrometry

Because MS based proteomics is often used as discovery/hypothesis-free strategy samples matrixes varies considerably. It would be wrong to treat all samples alike and the Proteomics Resource Center at The Rockefeller University therefor conducts experiments using a 'tool box' where each tools is priced accordingly. This allows to tailor a proteomics experiment to an individual sample, and at the same time allows for fair and transparent user fees. User fees per process/tool are listed below in Table 1 . Examples of common analysis/experiments are listed in Table 2 at the end of this page. Listed charges are valid for Fiscal Year 2017 (July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017).

*) For Non-RU/external an start-up fee of $100 is applied per projects.
#) A startup fee of $50 is applied for internal users.
**) Some data analyses are very simple (e.g. ‘identification only’) while others can be time consuming. While standard data analysis is included for all protein identifications, custom and lengthy analyses are not. The latter is typically analyzed on a collaborative basis.
***) Standard data analysis is included in full service (digestion+LC-MS/MS) protein identification.
